Buy A Domain Name, Don't Use Free "Domains"!
If you want to make money from your website, and if you want a lot of visitors, (especially repeat visitors), you need to get your own domain name. Having one of those free "domains" from the free web hosting or web creation websites is a horrible idea. All the free services do is plug your name into their own domain name and anyone who is even remotely internet savvy can spot those a mile away. It's unprofessional and makes you look like somebody who doesn't have the time or money to make a decent website. Nobody is going to think your website is legitimate or professional unless you have your own domain such as "example.com".

In reality, price is the main deciding factor when registering a domain name. All the registrars do basically the same thing, only the prices vary. Many web sites want to charge you twenty-five dollars or more for domain registration, whereas some, (like us), are happy to sell you domain name registration for less than fifteen follars.
